Community comes together for a Spring Lunch Celebration

On Wednesday 25th March, the Alf Marshall Community Centre was filled with laughter, music and friendship as 33 local residents came together for a truly fabulous Community Spring Lunch.

Thanks to the generous support of the Bransholme Trust Fund, the event brought people together to celebrate the arrival of spring and the strong connections that continue to grow within our community.

Guests were treated to fantastic live entertainment from Jason Bingham, whose singing and all-round performance had everyone up on their feet dancing and smiling throughout the afternoon. The room was full of energy, joy and plenty of laughter.

A delicious two-course meal was prepared and served by Sarah and Andy Pittaway of Cookstars Hull and East Riding, adding an extra special touch to the day.

During the break, there was a lively game of bingo (with a few cheeky moments!), and each attendee also received a thoughtful Easter gift to take home.

It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves, connecting with friends and making new ones, including two very special furry guests who certainly made everyone smile.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day so memorable. Events like these truly highlight the power of community and the importance of coming together.
