18th June 2021Hull: Corey Dobbe’s family speak about their loss and appeal for man shown in CCTV to hand himself in

The family of Corey Dobbe, who sustained fatal stab wounds on Harleston Close in Hull on Sunday, have spoken of their grief.
Corey’s girlfriend Zoe said, “This shouldn’t have been allowed to happen. Anyone with any information no matter how small please don’t hesitate about contacting the police.
“Please help us to find the coward who killed the love of my life.
“He was always there for me, he was so kind, generous and genuine. He was the best type of person.”
Corey’s brother, Anthony said, “Please help us to find who has done this to my big brother.
“He was everything to me and someone has taken him from us. He was the kindest person I know and he was always there for me. He was my rock and my idol.
“Somebody knows where his killer is. Please help us to find him.”
Leading the murder investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Alan Curtis said, “I want to thank the public for their huge response to our earlier appeal. We are working through the information provided and are following up on these new lines of enquires.
“I would make a direct appeal for the man shown in these CCTV images to come forward. This is the most serious of offences and we will stop at nothing to identify and locate you.
“If this is you in the CCTV image, or you know who or where he is, please contact us as a matter of urgency on our non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 16/60891/21.”
