Children across the city will be keeping themselves entertained this Easter with the Magical Museums activity booklet from Hull Museums.
The second edition of the booklet, developed in partnership with Hull City Council’s Healthy Lifestyles Team and designed by artist Joseph Cox, has a health and wellbeing theme and is filled with fun activities inspired by treasures from the collections at Hull Museums and Ferens Art Gallery. It will also be accompanied by an online programme of events throughout Easter.
7,000 copies are being distributed to children and families across the city through children’s centres, and it can also be downloaded for free from the Humber Museums Partnership website here.
An accompanying digital programme, that will include historical cooking demonstrations, artist tutorials, mindfulness exercises and nature themed activities, will be shared on YouTube and across Hull Museums’ social media channels between Saturday 27 March and Sunday 11 April.
