3rd September 2021Calling all Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators!
We would like to invite you to be part of a new online resource that national Neighbourhood Watch Network are launching which will open up lots of new resources for you to improve your support for your own Neighbourhood Watch group.
If you are interested in accessing this new national Neighbourhood Watch Network ‘Knowledge Hub’ please follow these steps:
Go to the Knowledge Hub page on their website – click HERE or visit https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/knowledge-hub
Click on the following documents that you will need to agree to – Code of Ethics and Standards, Data Protection Policy and Volunteer Agreement
Click on either the picture or where indicated to compete the registration form (this should only take a couple of minutes). Submit the form and you will receive an email inviting you to the hub, with your unique sign in details (This may take a up to 10 working days)
The ‘Knowledge Hub’ is a central online resource which is designed to support you in your role. You will have access to information about your role and how it fits within Neighbourhood Watch, specific training and resources; and also access to the Neighbourhood Watch Forums. The forums will be specific to your role and you will be able to ask questions and chat with other Coordinators across the network. It will offer you opportunities to take online training courses, access their Summer and Winter workshops easily and share good practices with others, and be invited to attend future focus groups.
The ‘Knowledge Hub’ is launching in the Humber area as part of a planned rollout over the next few months. As a Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator you have the opportunity to access this new facility.
The process to join is easy to follow and will only involve completing a form on their website. Once they receive your registration form, they will process it and you will be sent a unique sign in with an automatically generated password from MyHub, their Hub provider. They will process all registrations as fast as possible but this may take up to 10 working days.
