16th January 2021Prevention of Young Suicide training information with PAPYRUS
This week the NN team undertook some really informative Suicide Prevention training with PAPYRUS.
PAPYRUS is a national charity that support people and families affected by anyone who is thinking suicidal thoughts or has acted upon them. They primarily work with people under the age of 35 guiding and supporting them whenever it may be needed.
Please take some time to take a look at their website and watch their YouTube video and see if you could help to spot the signs of a loved one who may have thoughts of suicide. Home | Papyrus UK | Suicide Prevention Charity (papyrus-uk.org)
How do we know if someone is thinking about suicide? We cannot be certain without asking directly. There are often ‘signs’ we can look out for which indicate someone could be considering ending their life and it’s time to ask.
