New Charity Status for the Neighbourhood Network

We are pleased to announce that the Neighbourhood Network has been successful in registering the organisation as a new charity, renamed as Neighbourhood Network (Humberside) Ltd.

The board of trustees took the decision to change the name from Neighbourhood Network – Hull to form a new charity as Neighbourhood Network (Humberside) Ltd.  This is a big turning point for the Neighbourhood Network, as this shows a plan to grow the charity to areas other than Hull.

You may wonder as to why the trustees decided on using ‘Humberside’ within the new name, as this title has not been used since 1996.  The Neighbourhood Network Team wanted to be inclusive of Hull, East Riding, North Lincs and North East Lincs coupled with the strong partnerships with Humberside Police and Humberside Fire & Rescue, it only seemed fitting to include Humberside within the official name.

To make things a little easier we will still refer to our charity as Neighbourhood Network, and hope to grow and partner with other agencies within other areas of the region in the near future.
