This is a unique opportunity to join the Domestic Abuse Services who are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic Domestic Abuse Men’s Practitioner.
The Domestic Abuse Men’s Practitioner role is two-fold in that they are responsible for providing an effective trauma informed support and advice service to male victims referred to the DAP service, and also work alongside the Strength to Change Project team providing effective high-quality services to men who are domestically abusive to their partners and ex partners.
You must have previous experience of direct work with victims affected by domestic abuse or safeguarding adults or children. Have previous experience of working with men on a 1-1 basis and facilitating group work.
