Engagement Officer
This role will include developing links with local employers across the city, running engagement events onsite as well as engaging with employees who require further support for an identified drug/alcohol need.
You will provide 6-12 targeted sessions for those identified as having low-level drug/alcohol use or refer to the Treatment service for those who have been identified as having complex/dependant use from your initial screen (Brief Intervention).
This role will require you to be flexible with the need to offer both face-to-face and digital interventions to suit the needs of the workplace.
This role may also include evenings and weekends. Salary Range (pro rata if part time) £23,218.59 – £26,983.44

Sessional Engagement Worker
This role is sessional and will be as and when required.
As an Engagement Worker you will proactively engage service users to enable them to address their substance use at the earliest possible opportunity and either exit services immediately (Brief Intervention) or move directly into the right strand of the service (Early Intervention or Treatment) to achieve sustainable long-term change.
This will include a targeted approach to identifying service users, with this role having a particular focus on Events.
Your role will include delivering Brief Advice and Interventions at Events across the City, referring those that require further support into service.
Contractual Hours – Sessional/As and when needed; Salary Range – £11.90phr
