Forum have secured funding, initially for two years, for two Community Connector posts and these are a great opportunity to showcase the work that the voluntary and community sector does at a community level.
These jobs are about people’s skills at working with others, getting to know local people and communities and being able to motivate and support them to get involved when needed. You don’t need to have previous experience of working in the voluntary and community sector. What’s more important is an interest and passion in engaging with local communities and groups and organisations.
If you are great at communicating with others and have some great ideas about how to get people involved, this job is for you.
In this role you will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of voluntary and community sector groups and organisations across the City and the chance to work with our key partners to make sure that local people get more involved in the things that matter to them.
