Do you have a passion to deliver high quality research and information services to SMEs in the Humber region?

Do you have experience of working in European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) or similar European funded projects?

Are you able to develop and deliver workshops to SMEs to support their research and innovation journey?

Would you like to work within a new team to create a new and responsive project that will stimulate investment in innovation through research and development across the Humber region?

If you can answer yes to all of the above you might just be the person we are looking for.

Hull Culture and Leisure Library Service are seeking to appoint three dynamic and inspirational individuals to support SMEs by encouraging them to innovate by investing in research to develop new products/processes and services.

You will develop and deliver workshops and, support the Innovate Humber Project Development Manager to establish the project. This will include developing partnerships and brokering relationships between SMEs, research organisations and institutions to assist project participants.

We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and can make things happen with experience of work in a relevant field. We expect you to have relevant skills, experience and knowledge, including effective communication skills to inspire and motivate people. In addition to this, the ability to maintain strong working relationships and partnerships.

You will need to have a good knowledge of the resources and, research and information tools available to help businesses innovate.  A good understanding of economic and industrial development is also desirable.

You must have a flexible approach to work, as this job will require the successful candidate to travel across the region, with some evening and weekend work planned into your schedule.
