Job Vacancies with HCAS

HCAS (Humber Community Advice Services) are a Hull-based charity providing information, advice and support to members of the minority ethnic communities.

They are looking for motivated and disciplined individuals to fill the vacancies as follows:

1) An Adviser – To provide advice and support on benefits and money matters.

2) A Health and Well-being Support Worker.

3) An Administration Officer.

The positions are part-time and will be for a fixed period to December, 2022. Each position is for 2 days per week, and will draw attractive proportionate pay.

The applicants should be well organised and have previous experience of working with diverse communities. They should be team players and have:

  1. a) Good communication skills.
  2. b) The ability to communicate effectively at different levels.
  3. c) Compassion, and a desire to make positive difference to other people’s lives.
  4. d) The ability to respond quickly to different situations.

For the Administration Officer vacancy, the applicant should have good IT skills, and experience of office administration work. The ability to read, write and communicate in Arabic will be an added advantage for the admin position.
