Enterprise Retail Manager
The Enterprise Retail Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, inspiring, training and developing our companions and volunteers in our retail operations and provide excellent customer service. Ensuring that retail locations are delivering the best results and supporting the charities mission in becoming financially self sufficient.
If you have charity retail experience, have an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communications skills, experience of training and supporting people with complex needs and a positive “can do” attitude we would love to hear from you. You will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team who are passionate about what they do.
- Salary of £27,000 – £30,000 per annum
- Support multiple enterprise sites
- Working Hours – full time hours are 37.5 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday
- Annual Leave – 25 days per annum plus 8 bank holidays

Outreach Worker
This role is responsible for adding extra capacity to the Emmaus Outreach service. Ensuring that the rough sleeper outreach service is supporting those sleeping rough during quickly, targeting new and entrenched rough sleepers and focusing on proactive signposting, assisting direct access accommodation options, health interventions, and liaising with agencies to support rough sleepers welfare needs. Working alongside the vital homelessness network across Hull and East Riding this role will be pivotal in linking the most marginalised rough sleepers into short term/ more sustainable accommodation. This role involves including Emmaus companions and volunteers to become effective outreach team members, ensuring collectively that Hull and East riding is well covered, teams are visible and proactive in all activities. All Emmaus staff support companions and volunteers included within the service in terms of enhancing development and learning.
Essential Requirements
- Experience of engaging vulnerable people experiencing complex multiple needs
- Experience of multi-disciplinary agency working, including enforcement agencies
- Driving license
- Experience of encouraging marginalised people to access support
- Experienced in delivering funded projects and reporting on outputs and outcomes
- Must have previous Outreach experience.

Retail Team Leader Newland Avenue
General
- To ensure activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, policies and general duty of care and professional boundaries.
- To be flexible and willing to carry out any reasonable duties needed to assist the community and business operations, including holiday/sickness cover, and participation in team meetings, attend 1:1’s and appraisals.
- To understand and work in accordance with the principles of Emmaus International and uphold its values and ethos.
- Support and develop training for companions and volunteers
- Participate in wider Emmaus activities
- Manage stores marketing plan and promotions
