Men in Sheds (MiS) is a charity which works in a practical way to reduce loneliness and isolation amongst men. They have a facility, the Shed, on Beverley Road, Hull which has been temporarily closed due to Covid 19. They are looking to begin reopening the Shed and have an exciting job opportunity for someone with drive and determination to implement a phased reopening and ongoing project coordination.
With practical support from the MiS Board of Trustees, the Shed Coordinator will initially be responsible for setting up and delivering a programme of works to reopen the Shed and bring existing Members back using a phased approach. Based at the Shed, you will then oversee and deliver the day to day operations of the charity.
You will need a professional approach as you will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service. You will need to have excellent organisational skills as well as being creative and innovative. This will be a demanding yet rewarding role and therefore the ability to work calmly under pressure is required. Experience of coordinating a similar project and working with a diverse range of people is essential.
