Humber Learning Consortium (HLC) has an exciting opportunity for the right person to support people who are aged between 18 – 29 years, with learning and physical disabilities/difficulties and long-term health conditions, who are unemployed or economically inactive with the aim of moving them into work.
This role sits within a team that equips target groups of young people with employability skills and matches them to local employers. It involves the delivery of quality guidance and support on a one-to-one basis, group sessions delivering the elements of the Employability Passport and supporting participants to achieve the overall project outcomes.
The position is full-time (35 hours per week) and the Salary £20000 – £24000 per annum which covers Hull/East Riding with 36 days annual leave including bank holidays
Humber Learning Consortium (HLC) is a registered charity (1097333) providing learning and skills opportunities to disadvantaged people and communities. This-Ability is a £3.79m Big Lottery Funded project covering the Hull and East Riding area. The project started on 2nd January 2019 and is currently funded until December 2023.
Over the 5 years HLC will support up to 500 participants moving at least 200 (40%) into employment, through the assistance of a supported employment programme (MOBY)
Participants will receive high quality advice, support, and training delivered by This-Ability and its partners. We expect at least 80% participants to achieve an Employability Passport.
