Neighbourhood Network Charity Support Officer Vacancy

The Neighbourhood Network team are seeking a passionate, professional, conscientious Charity Support Officer that will aid the Neighbourhood Network Managers and trustees in achieving the aims of the charity and assist in its development and growth. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of working within the Voluntary and Community Sector and will have previous administrative and financial experience.

 

£17,000 – £20,000 pa pro rata (depending on experience)

18 – 20 hours per week (can be flexibly arranged)

Fixed term for 18 months with the potential to extend

 

Key responsibilities to include:

  • To support the Neighbourhood Network Managers in managing the financial and administration systems in compliance with the charity commission, ensuring timely and accurate monitoring of the charity’s outputs
  • To keep abreast of changes in government policies, ensuring that these are in place and adhered to for the charity and its member organisations
  • To support the formation and development of new neighbourhood groups, ensuring their needs are adhered to
  • Assisting in the communication of relevant and timely information including the production of the weekly email bulletin along with social media and website updates
  • Representing the Neighbourhood Network at partnership or member events
