Upcoming Neighbourhood Network Events

Over the next three months there will be the opportunity for member groups to attend 3 different events very relevant to our member groups. 

1. Humber Watch Association Event – Wednesday 13th June (4pm – 8pm)

This event has been organised by the Humber Watch Association, which includes the Neighbourhood Network along with the 3 other support organisations across the Humberside police region. 

The event will bring together member groups from all across the Humberside region to share best practice and meet other like-minded people. The meeting event will include key speakers, problem solving exercises and discussions and the future progression of NHW locally. A buffet will and refreshments will be provided.

 

2.  Neighbourhood Watch  Crime & Vulnerability Toolkits and NW Development Seminars – Wednesday 27th June (9.30 am – 4pm)

National Neighbourhood Watch are coming to Hull and wanting to engage with Neighbourhood Watch Groups in the area. They are providing a free day seminar at  the Royal Hull Hotel, Ferensway, Hull, HU1 3UF .  The morning session will be about the vision and strategy for Neighbourhood Watch which will involve the future and include discussions/feedback. In the afternoon they will be holding two workshops, one will be lead by Women’s Aid on Domestic Abuse and the second it tbc. 

 

3. Neighbourhood Network Annual Awards Event 2018 – Wednesday 24th October 2018 (6.30pm – 9.00pm)

The date has been set for our 2018 annual awards event, this year to be held at David Lloyd Fitness Centre in North Hull. Our annual event will celebrate the fantastic work and achievements of member groups throughout the last year. Nomination forms will be sent out in June and we really hope you all want to take part and get involved!
