Fake McAfee email scam

Action Fraud have received more than 700 reports of scam emails claiming to be from McAfee in just 3 days.

Scammers attempt to trick users into believing that their McAfee subscription has expired. By clicking a link that they have issued this would then open another fake page claiming that their computers are infected. Fraudsters could be using this email to trick recipients into paying for fake subscriptions or even installing unwanted software that may monitor your computer and the information you input.
