One Hull of a Forest Appeal for a Treasurer to Join them
Hull is the least forested city in the UK. Together, Hull & the East Riding have only 2.6% woodland cover against a national average of 8.4%.
The One ‘Hull’ Of a Forest (OHOF) initiative aims to put the city on the map for its reforestation efforts, as part of the government’s Northern Forest Initiative to plant 50 million trees along the M62 corridor. Working together with local communities they are finding sites and funding to plant trees, and to ensure they are cared for as they grow and improve lives throughout Hull and beyond.
They are currently in need of a treasurer, who needs to be comfortable with spreadsheets, live locally, have good references, and be willing to help out 1-2 hours per month. No formal accountancy experience is required!
