Neighbourhood Network Newsletter

July - School's out for summer!

As the school holidays begin and some of our regular activities at the Alf Marshall Community Centre take a well-earned summer break, we're certainly not slowing down!

This summer, the centre is buzzing with exciting opportunities for children, young people and families. We're delighted to be hosting Healthy Holidays cooking sessions and Movement2Music's SEND Healthy Holidays activities, providing fun, engaging experiences throughout the school break.

We've also got plenty happening for adults. The Menopaus'ull Support Network has launched a range of new workshops, alongside three FREE Thursday evening taster sessions. Whether you've always wanted to try Bollywood Dancing, Pilates, or our third exciting activity (coming soon!), these sessions are a fantastic opportunity to give something new a go. If they're well attended and participants would like them to continue, we'll be looking to introduce regular Saturday morning sessions from September.

It's also an exciting time for our organisation as we're growing our team. We're currently recruiting for two fantastic opportunities: an Operations Assistant based at the Alf Marshall Community Centre and a Menopaus'ull Project Coordinator. If you're passionate about supporting local communities and making a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you, or perhaps you know someone who would be perfect for one of these roles.

As always, thank you for being part of the Neighbourhood Network community. We hope you enjoy this month's newsletter and wish you a happy, healthy and enjoyable summer!
