26th January 2024Community Health Promotion Events Fund
Hull’s strong and diverse voluntary and community sector have high levels of trust and meaningful relationships with the communities they serve
Local community organisations are well placed to reach out and speak with local residents and are key to enabling health services to hear how they can help communities across the city.
This grants programme will support local communities to run community market stall events with health services, that:
- Aim to reduce health inequalities
- Promote positive health messages and signpost to health services
- Engage communities most likely to face health inequalities (these may be geographical communities, or communities who share characteristics that exacerbate the health inequalities they face)
- Gather feedback about their needs and barriers to their accessing services
- Ensure health professionals are present to engage with communities
Voluntary and community organisations that are strongly embedded within local communities in the city that are working directly with local people in Hull may apply.
Deadline for applications are Monday 26th February, 9:00am.
