Environmental Team Leader with Hull City Council

Applicants are invited to apply for the position of Environmental Team Leader within Streetscene Service.

You will be required to lead and manage up to 30 staff deployed within a team, delivering effective street cleansing services across the City.

Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the allocations of work is in proportion to schedules and monitoring of scheduled work is completed. You will have responsibility to ensure that the Health and safety of staff is adhered to, staff welfare issues are addressed and documentation relating to sickness absence are completed in line with Policy.

This is a customer focussed position therefore it is imperative that applicants are competent in addressing individual customer concerns or complaints responding to them in accordance with corporate policy and ensuring that lessons learned are taken into account. 

This post is subject to a 4 on 4 off shift system, incorporating a 12 hour working day.
