Get involved with Hull International Carnival 2017

The organisers behind Hull International Carnival are looking for participants to take part in this years exciting carnival parade which takes place on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd September 2017.

As part of the 10 year anniversary of the Freedom Festival, they promise an extravaganza of music, dance and costumes to wow the audience, with an international touch inviting bahamas dancers and Carnival troupes from other parts of the UK.

They would like to get involvement from the least developed ethnic, disadvantaged minorities and disengaged groups within Hull by offering them the opportunity to work together as  individual groups and combined groups in engagement with artistic and cultural activities. Through their various Mas Camp workshops and dance rehearsals, costume making events to promoting increased levels of participation of those who are left out and  underrepresented in arts.
