Hull: Man charged following crash on A63

 
A man has been charged following a collision on the A63 at 2.45pm on Wednesday 28 November.

The driver of a black VW Golf was stopped by officers for the nature of their driving when the driver sped off.  The offending vehicle was then in collision with a red Mercedes on the A63 near St Andrews Quay.  The driver of the Mercedes was not injured.

The Golf then crashed a short time later as it left the A63 near to Melton.  Mohammed Mohsin Khan (19) of Baden Powell Road in Nottingham was arrested at the scene and has subsequently been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, driving without insurance and possession of a controlled substance (cannabis).  He has been bailed to appear at Hull Magistrates court on 17/12/18.
