Hull Maritime Community Grants – Round 3 Announcement

Hull Maritime are pleased to announce round three of their Community Grant Scheme! 

The scheme will award grants to community groups, freelancers, partnerships and VSCE organisations in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire for projects and activities that explore or take inspiration from our area’s maritime story. 

There are 10 small grants of £1,000 available.  

Applications open 15 January and will close 23 February. 

The grants may be used for projects, one-off purchases, or for community activities, and we are very open to what that might look like for you, your group, and your community.  

Importantly, there must be a maritime connection in all instances. This could be through the core work that you or your group do, or it could be a specific maritime themed project that you would like to run. 

They’ve asked that all proposals look to meet at least one of their cores aims: 

1. A wide range of people will be involved in heritage. 
2. People will have developed skills. 
3. People will have volunteered time. 
4. People will have learned about heritage, leading to change in ideas and actions. 
5. People will have a greater wellbeing.
