Hull City Council would like to invite you to the launch of Hull City Council’s Open Space Community Network. They would be delighted if you could be part of the day’s events and help shape the future of community involvement in our open spaces across the city.
The city’s Open Space Strategy is a corporate commitment to our green and open spaces. The Open Space Community Network is being established to provide overarching support for community groups to come together and engage in their local spaces in a multitude of ways.
The aim is to develop strong partnerships within the city’s communities and organisations with an interest in, or background of, growing and wilding.
They are looking to provide support to these groups to help them grow and develop to share ideas, skills and resources.
The event will be an opportunity for you to hear from some key speakers involved in the promotion of open spaces and community initiatives and are keen to hear the views and ideas on how your open spaces can be more successfully promoted, improved and utilised by the local community.
The Open Space Network Launch, which will take place as follows:
Date: Tuesday 16 April 2024
Time: 10.00am – 2.00pm
Venue: Guildhall Reception Room (first floor)
The event is free to attend, and lunch is provided.
