Hull: Teenager charged following two incidents in Hull

A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with trespass with intent to steal and attempted trespass with intent to steal in connection to two reports of burglary last month. He has been bailed to appear at Hull Youth Court later this month.

On Wednesday 31 October, shortly before 11.25pm it was reported that two people allegedly caused damage to the door of Carphone Warehouse on St Andrew’s Quay, Hull and went inside. The pair reportedly left after they were disturbed by a security guard.

Later that night, shortly after 11.45pm it was reported that people approached the Co-Operative on Greenwood Avenue, Hull and tried to enter. The alarm went off and they left.

Anyone with any information about either incident is asked to call 101 quoting log 16/114427/18 or 16/114308/18 respectively.

Alternatively you can report information anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
