The Neighbourhood Network is a registered charity with over 500 members across Hull making up this unique network. The Neighbourhood Network aims to support the coming together of residents, empowering them to build safer, stronger, and healthier communities.
This year the Neighbourhood Network is embarking on a new and exciting project to add to its portfolio of work and is taking over the management of the Alf Marshall Community Centre in Bransholme. The centre has been closed for community activities in recent years and the charity is excited to breathe new life back to the centre.
The Neighbourhood Network team are seeking a passionate, professional, customer focused Community Project Coordinator that will support the Neighbourhood Network Managers and trustees in delivering varied activities and services to meet the needs of the local community. This new role will have responsibility for taking bookings, balancing the diary, ensuring the rooms are set for arrival and the customers’ needs are met when visiting the centre. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of working within the Voluntary and Community Sector and will have previous experience in a customer focused role.

Key responsibilities include:
- Booking and managing the availability of the meeting/event rooms
- Setting up the meeting/event rooms to meet customer needs.
- Ensuring a positive customer experience for visitors to the community centre
- Encouraging and supporting the charity’s volunteers
- Creation of the charity’s regular newsletters
- Support with organising the charity’s events and activities.
- Updating the charity’s websites in an accurate and timely manner
- Contributing to the charity’s social media accounts
- Working with third party organisations in supporting residents across the city
- Representing the charity at meetings and events
