The Neighbourhood Network has primarily offered support to community groups within Hull, with other organisations in the East Riding and Lincolnshire offering support to groups outside of the city boundaries.
In 2016 the Neighbourhood Network met with East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) to discuss the benefits of groups (especially residing in the boundary areas of Hull and East Yorkshire) belonging to both networks.
In early 2017 work has begun on a project to attract new groups, primarily Neighbourhood Watch Groups to form along the borders of the East Riding and Hull local Authorities, offering them a unique opportunity to register with both organisations as part of a partnership approach to working towards safer communities.
By registering with both the Neighbourhood Network and ERYC, it means groups will be kept in the loop regarding crime in both areas and also means access to free window stickers, street signs along with advice and support for you and your neighbours.
