Menopaus’ull Support Network has been created to support women before, during and beyond the Menopause by delivering educational workshops, peer to peer support get togethers, exercise classes and much more.
The network will also be part of a research programme to look at how the Menopause affects bone health, especially those who are at risk of osteopenia or osteoporosis. The team are currently seeking women to take part in a study which will involve a bespoke exercise programme delivered by the University of Hull using exercise to promote bone health, balance, strength and much more.
Menopaus’ull Support Network has conducted a number of surveys asking women who live in Hull what they would like to see delivered in a non-medical support network, the team are now building a 12-month programme around the following results

Menopaus’ull Support Network will be delivered by the Neighbourhood Network charity in collaboration with the University of Hull with funding secured from the Ideas Fund, in partnership with Wellcome Trust and the British Science Association.
