21st June 2019Neighbourhood Fun Day’s
As a local Hull charity one of our aims is to introduce and facilitate engagement between our members, safety partners and the wider community.
To deliver this aim, the Neighbourhood Network organise Neighbourhood Fun Day’s, based in the heart of a community, tailoring the events depending on the location, for example, we invite local community groups to come along and hold activities outside so people can see what is on offer. Local agencies come along who are offering services within these locations, such as the local policing team, drug and alcohol support agency renew, hull city council representatives, councillors and health services to name a few. There are also lots of activities and entertainment for young people such as fairground rides, donkey rides, crafts and activities and character mascots, facepainters and much more.
Our next event will be taking place at the Alf Marshall Community Centre on Saturday 28th September 2024, starting at 10.30am until 2.30pm.
