19th October 2022Hull CVS 40th Anniversary Funday

Hull CVS are celebrating their 40th anniversary with a free family fun day on Monday 24th October 2022, between 12noon and 3 PM at Johnny Whiteley Park. This includes FREE face painting by Fantastic Faces and various games, activities and music from local communities and groups throughout Hull.
Since the start of their journey over 40 years ago, Hull CVS have supported many voluntary sector organisations in Hull flourish. With well over 1,000 voluntary groups and organisations in Hull alone, our city is certainly a wonderful place to live, with incredible communities and inspirational people throughout.
In recognition of the phenomenal work our voluntary sector does, they felt it was only fitting to celebrate not only their anniversary, but to showcase the sector as a whole; which has worked tirelessly, day in and day out, over the last 40 years and more to make our little corner of the world just that little bit better.
With this in mind, as part of their celebration, they aimed even bigger and better than any anniversary previous and with help from West Hull ARLFC and local voluntary groups and organisations, the group will be achieving just that.
So, if you’re interested in a free family fun day, with face painting, child-friendly games, activities and music, a free hotdog and a chance to win a £50 gift card, then there’s no better place to be than Johnny Whiteley Park, Hull, HU4 6JP on Monday 24th October 2022, between 12 noon and 3 PM.
On the day, they will be joined by the following organisations and groups, who each brings their own unique flair to show just how incredible and diverse Hull really is:
