Hull: HIP 16 + Camera Club

HIP 16+ Club, was originally set up to encourage and help people get to grips with their cameras. When it first started it was a monthly meet up, but as the membership grew it went to once a fortnightly.

Due to members’ personal and work commitments it has often been difficult for members to get to meetings;  so from January 8th they are going to weekly meet ups.  Hopefully this will give members more choice/flexibility and enable them to get a club night more often.  It will also make planning projects and photography challenges easier.

HIP club is a friendly welcoming group with an equal mix of men to women with different abilities and interests in photography.

This year they will look at and discuss some of the masters of photography, relevant to the monthly project and challenges – you will be able to push yourself out of your comfort zone to help enhance and improve your images.

HIP senior + meet every Tuesday 7-9pm at Art Space 1 (opposite the lift) on the Harbour Deck of the Princes Quay, the first meeting of 2019 being the 8th January.

HIP also runs a HIP Camera group for the under 16s every Saturday 10.30 – 12.00
