Join us on Saturday 1st June from 10am until 2pm at the Alf Marshall Centre at North Point Shopping Centre.
Lots of activities and demonstrations on offer and it’s all FREE!
We at Neighbourhood Network are working with community safety partners and local community groups to organise and host a ‘Neighbourhood Fun Day’ for the benefit of you, the West Carr Ward residents of Hull.
The aim of the event is to showcase the many services and agencies you can access in Hull to create safer environments in which to live and work.
The event will also provide opportunities for local community groups and clubs to showcase their activities and events, encouraging you to take part and get involved in the future.
As well as being informative, the event will be loads of fun with lots planned for the children. Don’t forget it’s all FREE and everyone is welcome!
Activities and demonstrations on the day include:
- Free mini fun fair and inflatables
- Face painter
- Balloon Modeller
- Free donkey rides
- Interact with the funny and charismatic ‘Bob the Robot’
- Hold and feel live reptiles by ‘Prehistoric Hull’
- Join in with the local Football Club ‘Kingswood United’
- Have fun learning to play cricket with Wicketz of the
Yorkshire Cricket Foundation - Live demos by 5 Tenets Martial Arts Academy
- Crafts by ‘ScrapStore’ and ‘We Made This’
- Play the new ‘Love Your Street’s’ recycling game
- NatWest – ‘Taking a stand against scams’ awareness talk
- Learn more about cooking on a budget and growing your own veg with EMS
- Astra Youth Centre
- Have a sobering experience with the beer goggles by Renew
- Find out what’s on at Bodmin Church
- Join ‘Wilma’ the Hull Stop Smoking Mascot for fun and games
The Neighbourhood Fun Day will see Humberside Police, Humberside Fire and Rescue, The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, Hull City Council Councillors and Area Co-ordinator all in attendance too – So come along and get involved!
