Hull: Remembering Srebrenica memorial event

Remembering Srebrenica Memorial Event ‘Bridging the Divide: Confronting Hate’.
Hull City Council is hosting a memorial event aimed at remembering those affected by the genocide in Srebrenica. In doing so we seek to inspire people to challenge those who wish to divide communities, celebrate those who build bridges between communities and change attitudes and behaviours in others to go out and build bridges of their own.

Attendees will be able to hear from Dr Catherine Baker of the University of Hull and meet with representatives from local charity: Bosnia & Herzegovina Refugee Group.
