Description

Grants are available to local non-profit organisations and groups for projects within two miles of a One Stop store in Great Britain that benefit local communities by helping to improve lives and local places.

Objectives of Fund

The funding is intended to help with the direct costs of projects that benefit benefit local communities located within two miles of a One Stop store in Great Britain.

Projects need to meet at least one of the following outcomes:

• Improving the lives of young people.
• Improving the lives of the elderly.
• Promoting physical activity.
• Improving health or well being.
• Increasing community safety.
• Protecting or improving the local environment.

Value Notes

The maximum grant available is £1,000.

Match Funding Restrictions

Match funding is not required.

Who Can Apply

Non-profit making organisations in England, Scotland and Wales can apply as long as they are constituted and have a governing document.

Applications will be accepted from a wide range of organisations including:

• Voluntary and community organisations
• Registered charities
• Schools
• Health bodies
• Hospices
• Sports clubs
• Community day centres
• Parish/Town councils
• Social enterprises
• Community Interest Companies
• Community councils (Scotland)
• Local authorities
• Social Housing providers
