Two arrested following Anlaby Road robbery

Two men are currently in custody following a reported robbery at a store on Anlaby Road in Hull on the afternoon of Monday 16th March.

Police were called shortly after 5pm with reports that two men had entered the shop and tried to steal items from inside. When challenged by a member of staff, one of the men allegedly threatened the staff member.

Officers attended and two men, aged 40 and 46, were arrested nearby, both remain in custody whilst enquiries continue.
