Beverley Puppet Festival now online show

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Beverley Puppet Festival will sadly not longer be able to deliver the festival in its usual format.

Their plan B will involve all 25 of the previously programmed puppet companies creating video activities that audiences can complete in their own homes using simple materials. They will release 25 activities via their website and social media channels between May – July in ‘Two Months of Puppetry’ on the theme of ‘Back to Nature’.

They feel this is the best way forward so that artists can still be paid and audiences will have engaging, creative activities to participate in during this difficult time.
