20th May 2020Hull: Drugs and cash seized in two raids

Two drugs warrants were served in the Beverley Road area of Hull netting a haul of drugs, drug dealing equipment and cash.

Last Friday 15 May, Humberside Police served a drugs warrant at a house on All Saints Street where we arrested four people, two from Hull and two from Manchester. Officers found and seized a quantity of what are believed to be Class A drugs, along with cash, weapons and seven mobile phones. Those arrested have been released as we continue our investigations.

Today, Tuesday 19th May a drugs warrant was served at a house on Terry Street, where what are believed to be Class A and Class B drugs were found, along with around £1000 cash, designer clothing and watches. One man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and remains in custody as we carry out our investigations.
Community Beat Manager Scott Greenwood said, “These two warrants are as a result of some great policing work done by our Intelligence Unit. They gathered the information the local policing teams, who work alongside #OpGalaxy officers, needed to execute these warrants and take a large quantity of drugs off our streets.
“Our local communities deserve to live without drugs and the crime associated with drug dealing. We continue to do everything we can to take drugs of the streets of Hull and arrest those suspected of drug dealing.
“Anyone with information about drugs being dealt in their community can call us on 101 and report their concerns.”
