Man charged with burglaries in Hull

Leslie Leach (41) of no fixed abode was arrested on Saturday at a house on Hall Road in Hull where he had been detained by the householder on suspicion of burglary.

The police arrested him at the scene and thankfully the householder did not suffer any serious injuries.

Leslie Leach was charged with ‘burglary with violence’ in connection with this incident and also charged with an attempted burglary on Chanterlands Avenue on 13 August and with a burglary at a house on Cottingham Road on 21 August.

He is due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court on Monday 24 August.
