Hull: House fire on Riby Court, Orchard Park

Following extensive enquiries throughout the day by police and fire investigators into a house fire in the early hours of the morning of 11th September in Hull, there are no suspicious circumstances that have been identified as part of the investigation and the incident is not being treated as arson.

Emergency Services were called to a property on Riby Court following reports a bungalow was on fire.

A man was rescued from the address and taken to hospital, where he sadly passed away.

Officers will continue to work alongside and support Humberside Fire and Rescue Service who will be carrying out their investigation to establish the exact cause of the fire.
