Hull: Man in court after handbag stolen from elderly woman

A 39-year-old man is due in court in connection with an incident where a handbag was stolen from an elderly woman in the Grasby Road area of Hull.

Andrew Hamilton, of Holderness Road, Hull, was charged with theft on, Sunday 27 September, and remanded in custody overnight to appear at Hull Magistrates Court.

Shortly after 2.30pm on Sunday 27 September Humberside Police were called with reports that an elderly woman was waiting at a bus stop when she was approached by a man who took her handbag from her before running away.
