Two police officers were doused with what is believed to be petrol, after challenging a man acting suspiciously in Anlaby Road, Hull on Tuesday, 27 October.
Radoslaw Baczak, 28, of Mayfield Street, Hull, has been charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear before Hull Magistrates Court today charged with going equipped to steal and two counts of assaulting a police officer.
