Hull: Man arrested in connection with assault on Harley Street

Officers investigating an assault on Harley Street in Hull have arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the incident.

He will be questioned about the offence and remains in custody at this time.

A woman arrested at the time of the assault was released under investigation but has subsequently been rearrested and will be questioned again today.

A man assaulted during the incident received serious but not life-threatening injuries and is recovering following hospital treatment.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident, that happened at around 2.30pm on Saturday 5 December, to contact them if they have not yet been spoken to.
