The Alcohol and Drug Service in Hull currently has a number of job vacancies which include; Trainers, Recovery Worker (Level 2), Trainee Substance Misuse Recovery Worker. See below for further details.
Trainer – Substance Misuse
ADS currently have an opportunity based in Hull to influence the development of the young people’s substance misuse service across the East Riding.
The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of a program of awareness courses and resources to young people and professionals. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 in Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent and experience within the substance misuse field. A relevant degree and a Level 3 Education & Training (PTTLS) or equivalent is desirable.

Recovery Worker (Level 2)
ADS currently have an opportunity based in Hull to work in the substance misuse recovery communities across the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The post holder will manage a caseload of low risk/non-complex substance misuse service users, providing structured key working, psychosocial based interventions, assessment, referral and advice. The successful candidate will have relevant experience within the Substance Misuse field and a Level 3 Qualification in Drug & Alcohol or Health and Social Care or equivalent. The ability to travel effectively across the geographical area in a timely manner is desirable.

Trainee Substance Misuse Recovery Worker
ADS currently have an opportunity based in Doncaster to support service users in their recovery to develop interests and shared experiences within the community.
The post holder will during the first 12 months undertake an academic qualification and produce a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate the competencies required to deliver the role of Recovery Worker.
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE/O’Level standard in English and Maths and be willing to undertake personal development and training. The ability to travel effectively across the geographic area in a timely manner is desirable.
