Community Litter Picks with Rubbish Friends

Rubbish Friends in Hull is a community group for people who want to improve the local environment through litter-picking whilst making new friends and enjoying time outdoors.

They are not affiliated with any political party. Volunteers to lead picks are always welcome! If you are a new member please check out any upcoming events to see if any future picks are already planned.

The upcoming litter picking events are:

10:00 Sunday 6 June Chamberlain Road Old Railway Line litter pick Litter Pick down the Hull to Hornsea old Railway Line starting at Chamberlain Road entrance and heading towards the city centre. Meeting at 10am, come join us if you can! Plenty of parking available down Chamberlain Road or James Reckitt Ave. If anyone needs litter pickers or bags just let me know and we can get that sorted for you. Pick Lead – Kristina.

10:00 Sunday 13 June Cottingham Inaugural Rubbish Friends Litter Pick You are warmly invited to Rubbish Friend’s first ever group litter pick in Cottingham. We will meet at 10am at Sewell’s onthego shop and garage on Northgate, Cottingham. It would be great to see lots of you there to give the new Patch a boost, and there’s a pleasant green route to Hull planned.
