9th June 2021Two substantial cannabis factories uncovered on Beverley Road, Hull.

Officers from Hull Central Neighbourhood policing team in collaboration with #OpGalaxy have conducted two misuse of drugs act warrants this week in a bid to tackle the use of drugs within the local community.
A warrant was executed on Beverley Road, Hull were officers identified a cannabis grow with an estimated street value £100,000 on Monday 7th June.
Upon entering the premises, it was discovered that sophisticated equipment had been used and electricity had been abstracted.
The premises was made safe and plants seized following the discovery. Officers are continuing with lines of enquiry to identify those involved.
Following a warrant on Tuesday 8th June, a man has been charged with the cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity.
A 21-year-old man was remanded in custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court on Wednesday 9th June.
It is reported that a substantial cannabis grow with sophisticated equipment was uncovered at a property on Beverley Road, Hull.
Community Beat Manager Tim McGowan said: “We will continue to take positive action against these individuals to make our community a safer place.
“This kind of criminal activity will not be tolerated, the collaborative approach of both of these investigations has meant we have been able to take a substantial amount drugs off the streets of Hull.
