A 37-year-old man has been charged following the discovery of a cannabis farm in Appin Close in Bransholme, Hull on Friday 18 June 2021.
The man was charged for cultivation of cannabis and for abstracting electricity and has been remanded to appear before Hull Magistrates Court on Monday 21 June.
The cannabis farm was discovered by the North Carr Neighbourhood Police Team who, acting on information, found a sophisticated set-up of roughly 200 cannabis plants in the property, totalling a street value of £125,000.
Neighbourhood Beat Manager PC Rose Waller said: “This discovery and the dismantling of the cannabis grow means that a quantity of class B drugs have been stopped from entering the local drugs market, making our communities and streets a safer place.
