Hull: Man charged following death of badger

Yesterday (Thursday 29 July), a man was charged with wilfully killing a badger and causing an animal fight to take place under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 following an incident on Sunday 13 June.

The 22-year-old man has been remanded in custody to appear before Hull Magistrates Court today (Friday 30 July).

It is reported following the recovery of a mobile phone that content showcasing animal cruelty was discovered.
