Hours: 30 per week (may including evening and weekend as appropriate)
Salary: 20k pro rata
P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery are looking for a Support Worker to join their community-based team to provide group and individual support services for those affected by Acquired Brain Injury.
Main duties include:
- Promote physical and emotional health, wellbeing, education and community integration.
- Support the development of the charity.
- To organise, facilitate and deliver service interventions for those wanting to engage in the service. Including both 1:1 and group interventions.
- To devise, support and monitor service user Personalised Support Plans in line with charity processes and procedures.
- To respond to telephone and drop-in queries offering advice, information, and support. Dealing with queries associated with service users’ personal development, care, and wider health needs.
- To develop effective working relationship with appropriate external agencies and professionals.
- To raise awareness of the charity by delivering presentations/talks to external agencies and organisations as appropriate.
- Foster a culture of peer support within the charity.
- Develop and progress what the charity offers to service users in-line with the charity’s development plan and through supervision.
