ReNew are looking for passionate people and friendly faces to support and engage people in drug and alcohol support.
No two days will be the same and they’re looking for people who have a range of skills and expertise, who believe in being open, compassionate and bold in everything they do.
This role is an Engagement Worker (Social, Digital & Online) on a permanent full-time basis.
This role will engage and communicate with the Hull population through forms of social media, digital applications and online, as well as any other media streams appropriate to need.
The post holder will utilise their skills and experience to develop specific pathways alongside the Behaviour Change Team Leader & Marketing Lead, which will incorporate digital interventions. This may include developing a series of TikToks that promote health behaviour messages or creating educational videos for Facebook or Instagram.
Your role will be to engage the population through healthy behaviour messaging through online and social channels, supporting them to change behaviours associated with alcohol and/or drug use. For those that require it, you will offer and engage them further through digital channels, offering behaviour change interventions. This could include offering 1-2-1 sessions via Microsoft Teams or webchat specifically for those identified as having low-level drug/alcohol use or refer to the Treatment service for those who have been identified as having complex/dependant use.
This role may require evening and/or weekend working to suit the needs of the individuals accessing the service.
Please note, all new employees will start at the bottom of the salary range advertised.
Salary Range CGL points 23 to 28 (£24,193.77 – £28,116.74)
Interview Date Stage 1: 16th or 17th March 2022

The second stage of our recruitment will be a value-based interview for successful candidates from stage 1. We will be able to give details of the date when invited to Stage 1.
